Welcome to Design B&B. We’re a group of creative minds with a brand-oriented vision and a host-oriented mindset. Some of us are lifelong brand builders, and others are from computer science or wildlife backgrounds. What unites us is curiosity and collaboration. Together, we delight in the details and explore beyond the ordinary to find the best solutions. Rigor without laughter isn’t us — we find joy in the process.

This philosophy drives us to make design more accessible, for our clients, our community, and within the design industry as a whole. We train on the practice of design, offer and share our resources freely, and bring others into the process any chance we get. Design is for everyone and can solve any challenge.

  • We bring independent agency flexibility, low maintenance partnership, and global brand expertise to our client relationships. We work together to design brand strategies and systems that are right for your business, because at the end of the day, no one knows your brand better than you. Come over for a workshop, or we'll come to you.

  • If there's one thing we love more than design, it's Chicago. We engage with our local design community any chance we get, partnering with Chicago Graphic Design Club or lending our services to neighborhood nonprofits through our Good Egg Grant. We love to talk design over a cup of coffee (or a cocktail) with the Sears Tower in the background. Hit us up!

  • We're lucky to make a living in design, and we believe anyone should have that opportunity. That's why we work to expand the design career pipeline to be more diverse and equitable by educating the next generation of creatives. Our internship programs with TRIO and Prosser Career Academy demonstrate real-world creative careers to students of all backgrounds and circumstances.
